Oras University opens MCEF Campus

Oras University, voted the best university in the UK by the Complete RoUni Guide, has opened its new campus for Maths, Computing, Economics and Finance (MCEF) on Casper Island. This state-of-the-art building houses 2 "Mega Theatres" that are able to hold up to 200 people. The campus building features multiple flexirooms, which can be changed quickly depending on their required use, alongside new offices for all staff within the MCEF faculty. The building now ranks as the second largest in the University, with the department doubling down on its investment by hiring 40 new staff and offering brand new studentships in theoretical mathematics and coding. The university is also set to launch 2 new degrees.

University President, Harry Pernza, spoke at the grand opening, "This campus will allow for the major growth of New Oras and its university, providing new opportunities for locals and internationally. "It once again proves New Oras's power in the academic world, being one of the best universities in the Oceanic continent."

Current students can expect lectures and seminars to take place in both the MCEF building and on the main campus, with students arriving for 2026/27 will have lectures exclusive to the MCEF campus.
